TIBCO Nimbus has again been represented in Gartner’s Market Guide for Enterprise Business Process Analysis. In the 2017 guide, Gartner states that enterprise business process analysis helps support transforming and improving business performance and outcomes through business and process modeling.
TIBCO Nimbus has always promoted the message that organizations can improve the way in which they operate by documenting processes in an easy-to-understand fashion. Disruption and transformation are extremely high on lots of businesses’ agendas as they look to take advantage of new and improved ways of operating, and by offering better products and services to customers. Getting the business involved in defining those improvements leads to better adoption and less resistance to change.

With this comment, Gartner recognizes the significant investment that TIBCO is making with the Nimbus product. The user experience has been drastically improved to ensure that casual business users can start capturing processes and more importantly, capturing value quickly. This leads to decreasing the time taken to get value and improvements in the business as part of improving the day-to-day work that people are doing.
The investment in the product has seen a significant increase in new customers, as well as increased usage from existing customers looking to take advantage of the new capabilities. User experience is such an important part of how businesses look to use technology, due to the ever changing audience and constant raised expectations around what business applications should offer. Software companies need to make sure they are constantly moving with the times and applying these changing principles and needs to the products that they produce.
Focusing recent investment in the product into the web browser, TIBCO has looked to remove the traditional barriers and costs associated with buying and using enterprise software. Business applications have historically been enabled and supported by IT departments, meaning that the business does not truly ‘own’ the software. Focusing on web and cloud allows the business to work directly and independently of IT and doesn’t incur the licensing, hardware, and internal support costs associated with on-premise software.
