We are big believers here at TIBCO in the dissemination and proliferation of business intelligence tools through to all levels of an organization. We believe that business intelligence tools succeed best when anyone can use them. And by anyone we mean anyone from the mail clerk to the CEO. The business intelligence tools have to be easy to use, pertinent, developed for broad use, and include user interfaces that make sense for the particular task of the individual end user.
As part of our Regional Events series, TIBCO is proud to be a sponsor of the 27th annual Human Computer Interaction Lab Symposium. The Human Computer Interaction Lab (HCIL) is based at the university of Maryland and the Symposium this year is May 27- 28, 2010.
The HCIL “has a long, rich history of transforming the experience people have with new technologies. From understanding user needs, to developing and evaluating those technologies, the lab’s faculty, staff, and students have been leading the way in HCI research and teaching.”
TIBCO understands that the work that is done in Human Computer Interaction in university Labs like HCIL eventually makes it to development and QA of enterprise software. Business intelligence tools like TIBCO Spotfire benefit from the work done at these labs. Please join us at the HCIL Symposium to hear more about the partnership of business intelligence and human-computer interaction.
