Tieto, one of the largest IT services providers in Europe with over 16,000 employees, was looking for an enterprise social networking solution to quickly onboard new employees and promote a knowledge sharing culture.
Tieto chose tibbr for its ease of use, mobility, strong integration functionality, customization possibilities, continuous release cycle, structured subject hierarchy and more. “We believe that tibbr is the ideal platform for getting work done and streamlining day-to-day activities,” said Pasi Nikkanen, Head of Digital Channels at Tieto. “Within the first year, we anticipate tibbr will pay for itself, allowing us to save time, money and internal resources.”

- Onboarding: getting employees up to speed more efficiently, to know their colleagues (and not just the ones not sitting next to them); discover other subjects that are related to their work
- Extended discussions and Q&A: information is not locked in emails, but it’s reusable via search
- Support via External Communities: crowdsourced answers; Tieto has service desk of 16000 employees to answer your questions in a public discussion;
- Mobility: upload of mobile picture of your notes on a whiteboard, for example
