tibbr Team, Customers To Share Best Practices at This Year’s TUCON

Reading Time: 2 minutes

The tibbr team is getting excited for TUCON, TIBCO’s annual customer gathering being held in Las Vegas this September (27-29). Social computing will be a big theme of this year’s conference, with a specific focus on how it can improve the business processes and technologies that currently drive today’s biggest enterprises.

There are social enterprise sessions planned for both Tuesday and Wednesday, and we’re planning to make them as customer-centric and use-case driven as possible. The goal is to share best practices, lessons learned, and how to improve the pervasiveness of social computing in general, driving adoption and business value.

Tuesday afternoon (27th), starting at 1:30 p.m., we’ll host three social in the enterprise sessions, including one by Apache, a tibbr customer.

  1. Setting Up Social for Success. Social computing is a big part of the future enterprise architecture. But to set your company up for success, you need to identify key pain points and business process that can be enhanced or improved via the use of social tools. In this session, learn from the tibbr team what use cases work – as well as the ones that don’t – to drive fruitful adoption and business value across your company.
  2. Engaging Your Customers and Partners in Your Social Enterprise. Your workforce is only part of your business. Your customers and partners also need to be included in the social conversation. Learn how tibbr can help manage social interactions with people across your entire value chain, tapping the collective wisdom of your company’s ecosystem. With tibbr’s unified experience, it’s possible to interact with all of these stakeholders securely and privately from anywhere.
  3. Apache Corp Presents | Drilling for Information and Expertise Across Geographies. In this session, learn how an energy exploration company is using a social computing platform to collaborate in real time across geographically distributed teams on drilling projects. Whether it is the North Sea or Australia, hear how Apache Corp is now able to share contextual information on articles, meeting notes, operating procedures, documentation on tools – as well as their ideas on ways to improve their technology, processes and team objectives.

Then Wednesday (28th), starting at 11 a.m. at the “New Technology” track, we’ll give an overview and introduction to tibbr for new users or people interested in learning more about the product.

Many members of the tibbr team will be on hand, and we look forward to seeing you at the show. Need to register? Click here to do so at TUCON’s website.

We’ll see you in Vegas!
