Thanksgiving is just a couple of weeks away, so it’s come time for us to make our list of things for which we are thankful. For some of us, this began at the start of the month on social media by posting one thing each day for which we were thankful—both big and small. I’m thankful for my health, my dog greeting me in the morning, and a kind stranger who opened the door for me on the way into work. The list of things to be thankful for is much longer than we first anticipated.
Thank you. No… Thank you!
Companies have also been getting in the spirit with thoughtful notes and promotions centered around the holiday. But thanking consumers and being thoughtful of how we treat one another has become a regular habit of communication. Great companies know giving thanks is a large part of a lasting relationship. “Thank you for your order. Thank you for our relationship. Thank you for being patient with us.” The thanking is seemingly constant, but it always feels nice to be reminded of a business’ appreciation for its customers. Without data management it would be difficult to thank and track customers and products throughout the year. Gartner has positioned TIBCO as a leader in its Master Data Management (MDM) Magic Quadrant for both customer and product management. From a customer data perspective, we provide sophisticated, configurable data quality, and data survivorship with high volume integration requirements. From a product perspective, we are leaders in data model complexity and flexibility, governance process, and workflow. Multi-domain needs are easily met with the TIBCO MDM solution, which can solve a variety of use cases in different domains.
But, Wait, There’s More…
So, who are the people (or services) that companies should be thankful for this year? One suggestion might be the engine that helps run the corporate database of thankfulness: the MDM provider. Managing customer and product data around the clock and making it available, manageable, and insightful around the world and on-demand is what drives the awareness that allows companies to be thoughtful and deliberate in how they operate. There’s probably even more that companies could be thankful for if they know all that their MDM providers have available beyond database management and analytics. We are thankful to help companies tackle the challenges they face with our unique offerings.
