Earlier this month, TIBCO announced the formation of our new company—Cloud Software Group—with the completion by Vista and Evergreen of the take-private of Citrix and its combination with TIBCO. This combination creates a new company led by CEO Tom Krause.

Together, we enable our customers to evolve, compete, and succeed with data, automation, insight, and collaboration solutions across private, public, managed, and sovereign cloud environments.
Krause explains, “The platform we have built will expand and deepen our relationships with our valued customers and partners, drive the future of mission-critical cloud software solutions, and create long-term value for all our stakeholders.”
What Does This Mean For TIBCO?
TIBCO’s current offerings will map to two business units within Cloud Software Group. TIBCO will focus on the core elements of Connected Intelligence—maintaining our passion for solving the world’s most challenging data problems. The Enterprise Applications team will continue the growth and leadership of our ibi and Jaspersoft solutions, along with other offerings.
