Challenging Architects in a Number of Ways
The rigor of the program should not be underestimated; it is challenging post-university work. But, many professionals are drawn to this task because they want to validate their integration experience, and successfully achieving the TCA certification allows them to do that. Some even use this as a stepping stone for long-term goals like becoming an enterprise solution architect.
The TCA program will measure you in a number of different ways, including methodology and implementation, even testing your ability to present problems to both technical and business users. Upon completion, your role and ability as a hands-on architect will be emphasized.
What to Expect from the TCA Process
A unique aspect of the TCA program is that it provides architects with the opportunity to learn and apply knowledge very quickly while seeing immediate results. To begin the program, you attend classroom training for four days, after which you take knowledge assessments. Classroom work includes a business workload; you will be assigned a case or problem, then you must apply your knowledge and architect a solution. Just as at work, you’re expected to deliver your results on time and with quality. The knowledge assessments are used as preparation to show your certification exam readiness.
