TIBCOmmunity: A Revolutionary Online Community

Reading Time: 2 minutes

When you think of a technical user community, what comes to mind? A website with hundreds, or maybe thousands, of message boards and discussions with threads that never seem to end? Historically, these communities provided no true group collaboration, and users had to be extremely dedicated to follow threads and conversations on a regular basis. TIBCOmmunity is the logical next step for the growth of a technical user community. It provides the right tools, resources, and collaborative spaces for all members—from engineers to business users—making it a complete, go-to resource.

Efficient, Engaging, Exciting

At TUCON 2013 we previewed the new TIBCOmmunity to an excited user base. Every new feature was built with both widespread collaboration and community engagement in mind. Users are now able to easily scale private conversations to group discussions, leveraging other users on the platform to drive ideas, answer questions, and solve complex problems.

Previously, if users wanted to discuss a particular facet of a topic, they had to point to deeply embedded threads that were confusing and cumbersome to sort through. On our new platform, users can easily chime in on a conversation as well as follow topics and issues of interest.

A Smarter Community

An online community should be alive and dynamic. At TIBCOmmunity’s core is a personalized live newsfeed based on the contributors and subjects a user engages with regularly. This helps them find what they need, painlessly and organically.  The platform connects users and groups with user @mentions, and makes uploaded files and assets easily accessible, which facilitates the continuous evolution of topics and discussions.

TIBCOmmunity is setting the gold standard for how a user community should work. We are confident that new users will identify with our “Connect, share, discuss, and explore” model. Join TIBCOmmunity today!
