tibbr 5 announced at Las Vegas tech event, TUCON [video]

Reading Time: 2 minutes

Las Vegas, NV — If you weren’t one of the 2,000+ people who made it to TUCON this year, here’s everything you missed from tibbr‘s enterprise social network presentation:

For starters, there was the Social Keynote Address, where Ram Menon, President of Social Computing, announced tibbr’s increasing paid-user numbers.

“It’s been a phenomenal year for enterprise social and tibbr,” Ram told attendees.

“Last year I stood before you and announced that we had 1.2 million paid users, the fastest ramp up in 27 months… And barely 12 months later, we’ve not just doubled, we’ve not just tripled, we have quintupled. We just crossed the 6.5 million user mark this October.”

Yes, you read that right: In a little over three years, tibbr has grown from an idea on a white-board to a leading enterprise social network — a pretty amazing accomplishment and a true testament to how hard the team has worked.

But tibbr’s keynote at TUCON wasn’t just about incredible user growth.

You also missed featured presentations from some of our customers, companies like clothing retailer, The Men’s Wearhouse, and tibbr’s latest strategic partner, Huddle, both of whom appear in our Keynote video (above). More in-depth talks by KPMG, Thomson Reuters, and Nielsen can be seen in the full TUCON keynote videos here.

Most importantly, you didn’t get to see the announcement of tibbr 5 and experience the new tibbr Apps: tibbr Files, tibbr Tasks, and tibbr Pages.

Had you gone to TUCON in person, you’d have heard industry analysts like Forrester’s Robert Koplowitz and Constellation Research’s Ray Wang share their latest findings on enterprise social networking. You could’ve attended breakout sessions with customers like Schneider Electric, CGI, Yellow Pages Group, and InterportPolice. And you could’ve spoken to our experts and gotten hands-on demos in our Solutions Showcase to experience the new apps from tibbr partners Teamly, Badgeville, Manyworlds, and others.

But even though you didn’t make it to TUCON, the tech press did — articles appeared on TechCrunch, PandoDaily, VentureBeat, and other leading tech publications (to read them all, visit the tibbr News page).

But worst of all, you missed a private concert by the band, Plain White T’s, and the chance to see TIBCO executives let loose on the dance floor. (Priceless.)

Luckily, we recorded the whole keynote so you can enjoy it now. (above)
