New AIIM Research – More Businesses will Integrate Enterprise Social Networking with Business Processes

There’s no doubt that enterprise social networking moves water cooler conversations online to help organizations gather ideas and expertise, especially when employees are no longer co-located. But, new research from AIIM shows 51% of businesses feel that integrating social within business processes will be extremely valuable. This means, integrating conversations in the context of updates from business applications—SharePoint, SAP, Salesforce, Oracle Expense—that employees interact with everyday to get their job done.
