The tibbr offices have been abuzz getting ready for our Social Enterprise sessions at TUCON, our company’s annual user conference down in Las Vegas next week. This conference is dedicated to highlighting our customers who have been utilizing tibbr to better connect their employees with the people and information that helps them perform their best work.
Some highlights to look forward to at TUCON?
- As you may have seen in today’s press release, KPMG will share how it’s embracing social computing to flatten organizational hierarchy and empower a 21st century workers whose expectations for work tools have been forever altered by technologies on the consumer Web. Speaker: KPMG Australia CIO Chris Robinson.
- CargoSmart, a shipping logistics provider in Hong Kong, is utilizing tibbr to handle exceptions to business process in real-time and improve customer satisfaction. Speaker: Steve Siu, CEO of CargoSmart/CIO of OOCL.
- Timothy Kasbe, CIO of Intrexon, will highlight how tibbr helps in harnessing collective intelligence in large organizations across multiple disciplines.
- Apache Corp., a large oil drilling company, will share the challenges of integrating social technologies into an aging workforce and improving knowledge sharing across a globally dispersed team. Speaker: Randy Wagner, Drilling Advisor, Apache Corp.
- Pike Electronics, the provider of process automation tools used in manufacturing, will share how they’re enhancing business processes by pulling machine-generated messages (such as depleted inventory levels) into the tibbr activity stream. There, people are collaborating in real-time and taking action. With tibbr, Pike has seen a near 50 percent reduction in internal e-mail volume. - CIBER, the large technology consulting firm, will share how it’s better leveraging intellectual capital by using tibbr as a platform to improve knowledge sharing across the organization. Speaker: Jon Scarpelli, Vice President, Technology.
In addition to these talks by our customers, Sriram Chakravarthy, our director of engineering and products, will deliver his vision for the future of social computing. Rob Koplowitz, Forrester Research’s lead Enterprise 2.0 analyst, will give a third-party view of the market trends that are driving the adoption of social technologies in the enterprise.
