The Palace of Fine Arts
When the Palace of Fine Arts was built as part of the 1915 Panama-Pacific Exposition, it represented the rebirth of San Francisco following the 1906 earthquake, but it’s come to signify much more. A favorite of couples, The Palace of Fine Arts is a peaceful place that combines nature and architecture, with stalwart columns standing next to towering Australian eucalyptus trees.
