
Banco Sabadell is Spain’s fourth largest banking group, comprised of banks, brands, subsidiaries, and part-owned companies covering all areas of financial business. The bank occupies an outstanding position in the personal and business banking markets—and its biggest business driver is the customer.
“Our main objective is delivering top-quality financial services,” says Jordi Planas, chief architecture and methodology director. To meet those goals in a dynamic environment, the bank set about delivering a new digital banking model.
Knowing how demanding digital customers are, the strategy was to deliver personalized services that would retain and attract customers. That would require replacement of complex legacy systems that were not integrated, which led the bank to TIBCO. The relationship began in 2005.
