TIBCO Positioned in the "Leaders" Quadrant of the Magic Quadrant for Shared SOA Interoperability Infrastructure Projects
Evaluation Based on Completeness of Vision and Ability to Execute
TIBCO Software Inc. [NASDAQ:TIBX] today announced it has been positioned by Gartner, Inc. in the "Leaders" quadrant of the "Magic Quadrant for Shared SOA Interoperability Infrastructure Projects."1 The evaluation of TIBCO in this Magic Quadrant is based on "ability to execute" and "completeness of vision".
"We are pleased with our positioning in the 'leaders' quadrant and believe this accurately represents our proven track record with customers to reliably address their SOA requirements while continuing to innovate," said Rourke McNamara, senior director of product marketing, TIBCO. "For example, TIBCO is one of the few vendors providing infrastructure technology as a cloud service to afford customers a range of deployment options for their SOA backplane and governance initiatives."
According to the report: "Leaders in this market are vendors able to provide mature ESB capabilities, a range of proven orchestration options and a comprehensive set of SOA governance technologies. These vendors' products have been widely adopted across verticals and geographies, as individual items and in combination, to support large and business-critical SOA backplane and governance deployment projects. The installed base of these vendors is on the order of hundreds of users, which have adopted the full spectrum of their SOA backplane and governance technologies and in the thousands (at least 2,000 to 3,000) for the more-popular individual components (typically, the ESB products). Leaders in shared SOA interoperability infrastructure combine the ability to provide a comprehensive application infrastructure offering with a strong commitment to this market, which is expressed through focused value propositions and go-to-market strategies, support for the most relevant industry standards, and a well-defined road map addressing most of the emerging requirements."
