MODIFY Basics 

MODIFY is the syntax used to maintain FOCUS and XFOCUS databases. Join us as we go over the basic syntax of MODIFY, adding, updating, and deleting records in a FOCUS database. We will also demonstrate the use of MODIFYTALK, which generates a complete MODIFY using the Master file and the selections you make. Whether you are looking to provide interactive access or create an automated batch procedure, MODIFY offers a broad variety of controls in simple language.

Creative Sorting

Normally sorting is done either in ascending or descending order. In this session, we will show you how to create your own sort order based upon the requirements of your output. 

MAINTAIN Migration from pre-8.2 to 8.2 or 9.0

Maintain applications created in Dev Studio can still run in 8.2 and beyond. However, to make changes to the forms, you must migrate to App Studio. This presentation discusses migration and some of the things to look out for.
