Over the last several years, Hunt Oil has drilled and completed over 200 unconventional horizontal wells. Hunt had been using a third-party web service to store and analyze over 64 million rows of time series data generated during fracking. Using a combination of technologies from TIBCO and Amazon Web Services, Hunt replicated the third-party tool in house and reduced cost by over 90%.
