StreamNative: Event streaming with Apache Pulsar
Apache Pulsar, originally developed by Yahoo! and donated to the Apache Software Foundation, is an open-source, cloud-native pub/sub messaging and streaming system. It has been widely adopted by many major companies across the globe, and growth continues, with Pulsar now being used as a complete event streaming platform. StreamNative has developed many integrations in Pulsar, such as Kafka-on-Pulsar for native Kafka protocol support in Pulsar, and Spark and Flink for unified data processing.
In this presentation, Sijie Guo dives deep into Apache Pulsar core capabilities and new StreamNative streaming. He will demonstrate the Kafka-on-Pulsar integration of two popular messaging and streaming ecosystems and create a reference architecture for building real-time event-streaming applications.
Presenter: Sijie Guo, PMC member of Pulsar and BookKeeper and Co-Founder & CEO, StreamNative
