In the past few years, SEPA has evolved its information and analytics to bring the full impact of data, modeling, and data science to all areas of the business, with 80% of staff as well as customers benefitting. We will cover how we did it, with examples of question-driven analytics, COVID detection, and more. Crucial to success was engaging all staff, even those uncomfortable with tech and data—and our agile, collaborative, and rapid response TIBCO-driven developments that provided real-time modelling and innovative use of IoT to better manage Scotland's environment.
