Gartner Research– Predicts 2021: Data & Analytics Strategies To Govern, Ccale, And Transform Digital Business

Organizations are investing in digital transformation, but they do not always achieve the hoped for return on investment. Looking ahead at predictions for this year, Gartner notes, “To increase business value, organizations will invest in data and analytics platforms, trust-based data sharing and synthetic data for AI development. However, expected returns on investment will fail to materialize, unless data and analytics leaders modernize existing governance practices.”

TIBCO agrees with this assessment. Data governance practices must be modernized to ensure the technologies organization invest in will produce the desired data outcomes in the long run.
