Acme Industries is looking to increase market share by identifying and targeting the highest-value customers.

This has been difficult to date for several reasons:

  • Difficult to identify and react to market share changes and trends
  • Previous reports were static and couldn’t keep up with constantly changing data
  • Asking new questions required working with IT to build and run new reports

Using Spotfire X Acme Industries was able to create columns that dynamically calculate market share, calculate a performance matrix to identify which opportunities have the most potential, and combine sales and marketing data with US Census data for faster campaign planning.
