API Listings Now Available on Amazon Web Services Marketplace from TIBCO Cloud Mashery
TIBCO Cloud Mashery is one of the first API platforms to offer this capability on AWS Marketplace.
TIBCO Software Inc., a global leader in integration, API management, and analytics, today announced the availability of TIBCO Cloud™ Mashery® API Listings on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace. The solution provides customers of the Mashery® platform with a seamless API publishing and management experience for customers listing public APIs on AWS Marketplace.
"Digital is changing how enterprises create and capture value, and APIs are a key enabler for internet-scale distribution and platform business models," said Rajeev Kozhikkattuthodi, vice president, product management and strategy, TIBCO. "AWS Marketplace creates an environment to connect API creators and API consumers, which expands markets, disintermediates value chains, and disrupts the digital economy with APIs."
In addition to API Listings on AWS Marketplace, the TIBCO Cloud Mashery API platform itself is also available as a service on AWS Marketplace. Enterprises can rapidly accelerate their digital transformations using a full lifecycle, cloud-native API platform through a simplified Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) procurement process.
An integral part of the TIBCO® Connected Intelligence Cloud platform, TIBCO Cloud Mashery was recently recognized by a leading analyst firm for its strong performance in ease of use, end-to-end capabilities, and global customer base. In addition to API Listings, companies can also purchase the Mashery platform itself directly on AWS Marketplace on an AWS Marketplace SaaS contract, with seamless billing directly from AWS.
"Offering API Listings and the TIBCO Cloud Mashery platform on AWS Marketplace allows organizations to equip a cloud-native API platform that can manage APIs from virtually anywhere, including those listed on AWS Marketplace," said Garth Fort, director, AWS Marketplace and Catalog Services, Amazon Web Services, Inc. "APIs are now vital for digital transformation and we are excited to support TIBCO as they provide enterprises and developers new ways to develop their cloud-native apps and embrace the cloud with API Listings, making them available to our over 200,000 AWS Marketplace customers."
TIBCO Cloud Mashery customers can now publish their APIs on AWS Marketplace as a listing. Billing and monetization is executed directly from the API consumer's AWS account, with API publishing and management handled natively in the Mashery platform. TIBCO Cloud Mashery is one of the first API platforms to offer this capability on AWS Marketplace.
"Air France-KLM is very pleased with TIBCO’s investment to allow the amplification of our API products via API Listings on AWS Marketplace," said Guido van Til, vice president, digital strategy, Air France-KLM. "It is key to our strategy to provide our products and services to our customers wherever they are. We’re confident that offering our public and partner APIs to the global developer community on AWS Marketplace will support our strategy and deliver positive outcomes for our business."
