TIBCO Announces Locally Hosted Live Apps Now Available in Australia

TIBCO Software Inc., a global leader in integration, API management and analytics, today announced the recently launched TIBCO Cloud™ Live Apps as a locally hosted service now available in Australia. TIBCO® Live Apps, together with the established TIBCO Cloud™ Integration, provides business users with self-service functionality, while reducing the burden on corporate IT departments.

With TIBCO Cloud Live Apps and TIBCO Cloud Integration now hosted within the AWS data centre in Sydney, Australia, users can gain access to the services without the latency restrictions often associated with offshore facilities and with the peace of mind that comes from knowing that customer data is being stored in Australia-based servers. Small and medium business users will also benefit from local access to an Apple iPad native version of the service.

TIBCO Live Apps, announced internationally by the company in June, provides an intuitive, easy-to-use solution that enables rapid delivery of smart business applications built on powerful integration capabilities. The solution has been designed to give non-technical users the ability to create customized apps in minutes to address real-world business challenges. Smart apps are built as an extension of existing systems in place, or as a mashup, based on APIs managed by developers and exposed in platforms like TIBCO Mashery®.
