TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) and IDBS, a leading worldwide provider of research data management and analytics solutions to R&D organizations, today announced a partnership that integrates IDBS' ActivityBase™ chemistry technology with the TIBCO Spotfire® Analytics Platform. This integration allows scientists who use ActivityBase, the industry gold-standard for screening data management, to search and visualize their chemical structures through TIBCO Spotfire® Lead Discovery 2.1.

Through the integration, drug discovery teams now have a highly visual, interactive, and optimal environment for exploring the extended effects of chemical structures on biological activity. TIBCO Spotfire Lead Discovery 2.1 allows chemists and biologists to quickly access chemical and biological data in a single analysis environment, then easily build best-practice applications for analyzing structure-activity relationships.
