Websense Uses TIBCO's Software to Reduce Application Maintenance and Integration Time by 50 Percent

TIBCO Software Inc. (NASDAQ: TIBX) today announced that Websense Inc., a global leader in integrated Web, data and email security solutions has leveraged TIBCO's infrastructure solutions to successfully integrate major disparate IT systems and enabled Websense® to begin the establishment of a Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment, improving IT's ability to deliver functionality and capability to the business.

TIBCO's solution for Websense is based on a messaging platform that allows for various benefits such as a single view of customer data, a direct connection to business partners and real-time updates of information that is both consistent and accurate. The company's newly integrated systems have reduced system complexity and IT time spent maintaining applications and interfaces from 70 percent to 20 percent.
