Unibail-Rodamco Selects TIBCO to Unify Information Systems with Industry Leading ESB Solution
TIBCO Software (NASDAQ: TIBX) announced today that the Unibail-Rodamco Group, the leading European commercial property investor and developer, has selected TIBCO's Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) solution, TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks™, to integrate the different information systems still in place following the merger between Unibail and Rodamco Europe in 2007.
This strategic project is just one of the cornerstones of the group's new information system, the aim of which is to integrate the three existing systems:
- The French information system inherited from Unibail, which is based on the Altaix and Coda applications
- The system inherited from Rodamco Europe, which is based on SAP and used in the Netherlands, the Nordic region and Spain
- Custom applications covering Central Europe (Austria, Czech Republic, Poland and Russia).
Régis Migdal, director for Architecture, Integration and Development in the Unibail-Rodamco Group explains: "This project will ensure the agility of our information system and will make it possible for us to fully integrate new components in the future."
Therefore, in the context of this first project, TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks will orchestrate the flow of different local "real estate" property management applications and financial applications, making it possible to supply corporate composite applications. This first project will be accompanied by the implementation of a single data warehouse that will replace the various data warehouses that were previously in place.
Unibail-Rodamco has chosen TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks not only because of its ease-of-use, its robust nature and its cost, but also because of the quality of the accompanying services provided by the TIBCO software when its solutions are implemented.
"We are dedicated to providing a comprehensive integration solution for enterprises that need a way to connect disparate information systems following a merger," said Fabio Pulidori, Senior Vice President of EMEA Field Operations at TIBCO Software. "Our ESB solution allows Unibail-Rodamco to unify their business and have the right information at the right place at the right time, empowering them to make strategic business decisions that give them an edge in the commercial real-estate sector."
