Sky Italy Chooses TIBCO to Manage Activation of Subscribers' Orders
With a CRM Cloud-Based Solution Built with the TIBCO Fulfillment Orchestration Suite, Sky Italy Aims to Increase the Efficiency of Their New Pay TV Subscription Management Processes
TIBCO Software Inc., a global leader in integration, analytics, and event processing, today announced that Sky Italy, a leader in supplying pay TV services, will adopt a TIBCO® solution for executing, synchronizing, and managing its subscribers' requests. The role of the TIBCO solution will be one of modeling the business processes started on the new CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system of Sky Italy, implemented on a market-leading cloud platform, granting the optimal coordination of the applications, both in the cloud and on-premises.
More specifically, Sky Italy has chosen the TIBCO Fulfillment Orchestration suite to manage and monitor the activation of the TV packages offered to its end customers. When a Sky agent gets a new customer or updates the offer to an already-active one, the new CRM sends a message to the TIBCO suite that, after verifying the order composition, optimizes its management up to when it's installed at home, giving real-time information on the process status to both CRM operators and the customers themselves.

The TIBCO Fulfillment Orchestration solution is composed of a technical catalog and an orchestration engine. It’s able to process information about the order from the CRM, generating a dynamic execution plan, obtained on the basis of the commercial input order and of the rules defined in the technical catalog. The extreme flexibility, granted by the rule engine included in the solution, makes it simple and extremely dynamic for creating and maintaining business processes.
