Speakers:

Brett Birkbeck is the Head of Solutions Architecture for AWS Mining, Energy and Industry vertical. In this session, Brett will discuss how AWS collaborates with mining and energy companies to transform their data into a strategic asset that powers their mission-critical applications and analytics. He will describe how organizations have leveraged the AWS platform to unlock the potential of their data using innovative database, machine learning, and analytics solutions to create a self-service mindset and culture of innovation within their organizations.

Tym Lawrence is the Director of the TIBCO Solution Engineering team. In his 30 minute session, Tym will deliver a short overview of TIBCO's capabilities and how they work with AWS offerings. He'll then dive deeper into some typical use cases in mining and related industries and show how other organisations have used these capabilities to increase revenue, decrease risk and lower costs. 

John Kirkman is the Managing Director at Enterprise Transformation Partners (ETP) and Co-founder at UWA Industry 4.0 Energy & Resources Digital Interoperability (ERDi) Test Lab. John will share the Guinea Alumina Corporation customer success story and how it automated systems and transformed operations, improving operational performance and day to day work life with TIBCO and AWS solutions.
