Microsoft Azure Data Lake

The TIBCO Connector for Big Data (through its HDFS Activities palette group) can be used to perform various operations on Microsoft Azure Data Lake Gen 1, including:

  1. List file status
  2. Read file
  3. Write file
  4. Other HDFS operations such as rename file, delete file etc.

Users must configure Azure Data Lake Storage Gen1 with Service-to-service OAuth2.0 authentication mechanism. Please refer to the resources below.

The Connector supports both Azure Active directory endpoint OAuth2.0(v1) and Microsoft Identity Platform endpoint OAuth2.0(v2). Users should also provide Directory (Tenant) ID, Application (Client) ID, Client Secret of the registered Azure Active Directory Application in the connection configuration.
