IT Services Company Achieves Dramatic Business Growth with Integration
A leading IT services firm specializing in financial services automates back-office operations for small and midsize businesses, helps banks streamline workflows, eliminates paper checks, generates and processes invoices, manages cash flow, and much more.
According to one of the company's senior vice presidents, "We automate, digitize, and simplify a lot of the messier back-office and financial operations that small and mid-size FS firms have. In doing so, we also help manage all the payment flows that those businesses have through our single platform. We've been working closely with TIBCO to really accelerate the power of our platform."
The IT services company wanted to expand its addressable market and enable electronic bill paying for its customers but needed new and more sophisticated integration tools to connect with additional accounting packages. To achieve its desired growth, the company had to make it seamless for all customers to connect their various accounting software. The company also sought to increase operational efficiency using pre-made enablement tools rather than tools internally built from scratch. To address these needs and expand integration offerings, the company turned to TIBCO Cloud solutions.
The SVP explains, "We needed to scale faster and support more customer platforms. We're always thinking about what comes next, what benefit we can bring to improve customer livelihoods, and give them time back."
The company chose TIBCO based on many benefits: the flexibility of the hosting platform, high return on investment, and TIBCO's record of successful implementations. The company's IT experts seamlessly integrated the TIBCO Cloud Integration enterprise platform into the company's SaaS offering, which also includes other integration capabilities. The iPaaS automates and simplifies integration activities, making it easy to connect applications and data in any environment, and helping the company orchestrate these automations at scale for its trial and paying users.
To configure the new integration platform quickly and efficiently, the team used TIBCO pre-packaged connectors for major market platforms, such as Microsoft D365 Business Central. These connectors address use cases, including synchronizing customers' account receivables (AR) and accounts payables (AP) out of the box without custom code or specific product knowledge. This pre-built connectivity increased the company’s addressable market to Microsoft Dynamics' 60,000 customers, including 15,000 customers in its D365 Business Central.
With TIBCO technology at the foundation of its new platform, this leading IT services company has entered into the mid-tier market where it did not have a presence before. The company reports its client adoption is rapidly increasing because businesses can now easily connect their software and data together without any manual tasks. Adding new integration functionalities increases the company's customer base and also makes customers' product use stickier and more streamlined.
The SVP states, "We have over three million businesses now who have accounts with us. Every new customer that comes onto our platform can access millions of businesses that need to get paid. It's been a pretty powerful area, and at the same time, we make sure we can connect to the many platforms our customers use."
The company can now onboard new customers much faster, more cost-effectively, and with increased efficiency, due to the flexibility of the TIBCO Cloud Integration platform. Data mapping for customers can be completed in just weeks, compared to months with the old platform. The company reports meeting and often exceeding performance targets for the integration process. Its team can now leverage integration tools and adapters 60 percent faster than before.
According to the company's CEO, "TIBCO's integration is ahead of our go-to-market plans, and we look forward to continuing to partner as we expand into new markets."
