Technical Project Manager

Role Overview- 

Responsibilities: Learn how the product works and functions Facilitate sprint planning sessions and provide sprint commitment updates to business Facilitate retrospective meetings and track actions to closure Facilitate team discussions on feature refinement/scope and breaking down epics, user stories, and tasks, and timelines Facilitate technical discussions with Architects/Feature Leads to resolve technical challenges the team encounters Prioritize tasks based on business impact Manage product backlogs, work with Product Management and other stakeholders on backlog refinement Radiate communications of impediments on release to program level teams and engineering management Communicate progress, raise risks or issues to all stakeholders Communicate process changes/improvement suggestions/critiques and work with one or more teams on ensuring agreed upon processes are followed Create and maintain relevant agile process artifacts

What You'll Do

Who You Are

7-9 years experience, delivering, and managing enterprise products.

Ability to learn Products quickly.

Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Knowledge and experience of working in an Agile software development environment

Knowledge and experience with widely successful Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Configuration Management experience

Excellent oral and written communication

Excellent project management and matrix-management skills

Excellent active listening skills

Organized and self-motivated and a team player, relationship builder

Experience working with more than one team

Ability to identify and mitigate/resolve project risks, guiding the team, help remove obstacles

Understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders (users/clients, product management, development team, business team, etc) for mobility and cloud-based software applications

Ability to translate technical jargon to layman's terms and vice versa Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Git, Slack, Zoom

Experience with Scrum, Kanban, and/or SAFe

Experience with BI reporting tools Experience managing more than one project/product at a time Experience with Google Docs and Google Sheets
