Senior Inside Sales Professional

Overview

Compensation: 60/40 split

60k-65k base, 100k-108k OTE

 

TIBCO is searching for an exceptional salesperson to focus on our mid-market customers and opportunities. You will understand your customers’ business objectives and act as their trusted advisor for using TIBCO solutions most effectively. You will be responsible for sourcing new opportunities as well as driving the sales process from internal leads to qualifying new prospects to manage deals to closure. Be a part of a fast-growing team that emphasizes internal promotions throughout the sales organization.

What You'll Do

  • Conducting cold calls, prospecting, and qualifying account opportunities.  

  • Developing a pipeline of new opportunities while closing existing opportunities.

  • Identifying and creating business needs with executive decision-makers.

  • Creating and communicating the value of Spotfire solutions with prospects and clients.

  • Developing a detailed territory plan for business and industry strategies to maximize account penetration.

  • Undertaking additional responsibilities and respond to situations as they arise without supervision.

  • Clearly convey key information with customers and coworkers through oral and written communication.

  • Determining project urgency by managing and closing existing deals while cultivating new opportunities.

Who You Are

  • 2+ years of experience in Sales or Business Development -preferably in Analytics sales (SaaS, Qlik, Tableau, Micro, Looker, Pentaho Etc). 

  • Intelligent; Well-rounded knowledge base (business and technical/scientific).

  • Strong work ethic; Natural/intuitive networking skills; constant expansion of professional network.

  • Proven negotiation experience with the ability to obtain agreement from multiple parties throughout all stages of the sales cycle.

  • Experience with Salesforce.com system preferred.

  • Knowledge of the Business Intelligence industry - analytics & data visualization highly desirable.

  • Cross-vertical experience is a plus.
