Senior Desktop Engineer


We are seeking a motivated Senior Desktop Engineer – with at least three to four years experience – to join our internal helpdesk team working a second shift 2pm-11pm supporting our global employees in a hybrid work environment.

We are looking for someone with good attention to details, can work both independently and as a member of a team and someone with a sense of the ownership of the allocated tasks.

If you are a driven and skilled IT professional, with a strong customer focus and experience in both remote support and on-site projects, this is a superb opportunity to grow your knowledge and make use of your skills in a multitude of environments.

You will triage IT support issues and tickets to ensure appropriate assignment, escalation and resolution of all tickets. You will also liaise with several internal and external parties and support teams to address and resolve issues in a timely manner. 

What You'll Do

  • At least 7-8 years + of experience in a technical support environment required
  • Good understanding of ITIL in principle particularly in the Service Operation space, covering Service Desk, Incident Management and Knowledge Base Management
  • Knowledge of Desktop Operating Systems, Win10, MacOS, Basic Linux
  • Experience with MDM systems (JAMF, Intune, or similar)
  • Audio/Video knowledge with Zoom
  • Excellent working knowledge of laptop hardware, printers, mobile devices and Video Conferencing equipment (Lenovo, Apple, HP, iPhone, Android, Zoom and more)

Who You Are

  • Knowledge of Google Workspace products suite
  • Microsoft Active Directory – administration experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to support and communicate with the users
  • Sound troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Good command of spoken and written English
