Senior Contracts Manager


TIBCO Services is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Sr. Contract Manager to join its Global Professional Services Group (“PSG”) Sales Operations Team. The position will be primarily responsible for the EMEA region within TIBCO Services org. The person holding this role will be responsible for the timely creation, negotiation, and execution of all including non-standard/ complex consulting sales contracts as well as managing the contracts sales lifecycle and internal approval process from beginning to end. The Contract Manager will "own" each contract and be responsible for its accuracy and for addressing and documenting all product and business exceptions to all relevant stakeholders.

What You'll Do

  • Preparation of contracts in a timely manner drafting, negotiating, spotting issues and offering solutions.
  • Handling a large volume of contracts under time pressure.  The role entails working with various stakeholders in and out of the TIBCO organization across EMEA region. The ideal candidate must be willing to accommodate time restraints and deadlines.
  • Communicating interpretation of contractual terms to Sales, Finance, Legal, Software Licensing Team, Senior Management and others within the TIBCO organization.
  • Implementing the standardization of contracts and integration of new business when applicable.
  • Tracking and communicating the status of contracts in SalesForce and via constant email and verbal communication with Sales, Finance, Legal, Software Licensing Team, and other TIBCO departments.
  • Acting as liaison with Sales, Finance, Legal, Software Licensing Team, and Senior Management to ensure that contracts are accurate and comply with company requirements.
  • Willingness to take the lead in order to problem solve contracting issues quickly for the Sales team must be solution driven.
  • Handle the administrative (updating SFDC records, creating quotes, …) aspect of contract management editing contracts, updating drafts, electronic filing of contracts, forwarding of signed documents to necessary parties, etc.
  • Participating in and contributing to EMEA’s weekly bookings forecast meetings.

Who You Are

  • A minimum of 5-7 years contracts experience - negotiating and drafting contracts and master service agreements a must.
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be very detail oriented with strong analytical skills and a highly professional demeanor.
  • Strong experience understanding and analyzing contractual terms.
  • Good working knowledge of Salesforce, Contract Management System (i.e. Malbek), quoting tools (i.e. Apptus).
  • Must be able to think independently and work cross-functionally and understand downstream impacts.
  • Strong project management skills .
  • Self-directed, a problem-solver, organized, and a team player.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organization and documentation skills (e.g., MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, knowledge of various e-signing programs, etc.
