Senior Associate Product Manager

Overview

This position provides an opportunity to progress through increasing product management responsibilities.  A highly motivated individual with a passion for customers and products can develop or improve product management skills through a combination of formal training, mentorship, and practical experience. In this role, you will be involved in all aspects of the product life cycle and strategy, collaborating with other product managers to assist with their efforts. 

 

You will conduct important research about customers and the marketplace, as well as gather inputs from other stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Customer Support, Solutions Consulting/Professional Services, and Finance.  Your use cases, requirements, and prioritization inputs will help drive discussions and ultimately the product direction, packaging, positioning, and pricing.

 

What You'll Do

  • Work closely with the Senior Product Manager and Director of Products to prioritize and maintain a product roadmap according to business value. Define product vision, road-map and growth opportunities.

  • Work collaboratively with members of the technical staff to discuss customer insights and come up with the necessary capabilities to address the requirements

  • Write requirements / user stories and other complementary assets, e.g., user interaction assets in collaboration with designers

  • Play an active role in removing / reducing obstacles that stand in the way of a successful completion of Releases

  • Collaborate with Engineering to keep demo system up to date

  • Research and analyze market, the users, and the roadmap for the product

  • Follow our competitors and the industry

  • Create collaterals to position the products competitively based on an understanding of the market

Who You Are

  • Innovative spirit and desire for professional growth

  • Bachelors or higher in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Technology or related discipline. Strong technical aptitude, e.g., knowledge of enterprise software building blocks and cloud deployment technologies. Not hesitant to be hands-on

  • 4-7 years of relevant experience as Business Analyst or Product Owner, or in Product Management, Software Development, Quality Assurance, or Customer Success, or as a Technical/Sales Consultant

  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, in writing and verbally

  • Ability to conduct research and discover insights from customer and market research

  • Familiarity with design principles

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with members of the technical team, sales engineering team, and professional service group

  • Telco industry experience is helpful, but not required. For example, some knowledge of TMForum and 3GPP specifications, and BSS/OSS ecosystem
