Sales Executive


We are seeking an enthusiastic, charismatic, and knowledgeable Sales Specialist to help drive new sales into our UNIFY Pillar which includes leading solution for Master & Reference Data Management, Data Virtualization and Data Quality. As the Sales Specialist for Data Management Solutions (DMS), this position will be responsible for supporting the field on DMS strategic messaging, developing differentiated value propositions for TIBCO’s DMS solution(s), presenting to clients and prospects on TIBCO’s value proposition, and for assisting in the development of go to market (GTM) strategies and DMS product innovations. This position will support strategic sales opportunities acting as an evangelist for TIBCO's DMS technologies.

What You'll Do

  • Empower Account Executives with DMS subject matter expertise for concise and on-target value-based messaging through training and customer facing presentations.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Representatives (BDR) and Sales Development Representatives (SDR) on persona targeting and the creation and iteration of call scripts and digital messaging that will speak to the data and analytics challenges faced by modern Information Technology (I.T.) and business professionals.
  • Collaborate with and empower Solutions Engineers by developing impactful story boards and demo scripts that will differentiate TIBCO as subject matter experts who understand, and can solve for, modern day data and analytics challenges.
  • Support Alliances to onboard, to develop and to enable the Partners network around DMS in order to have a balance eco-system to support customers and prospects.
  • Be proactive with Product Marketing to support communication to the market including Analyst relationships.
  • Enable the link with Product Marketing to feed engineering with field requirements and products evolution.

Who You Are

Direct Sales Support :

  • Support Account Executives on strategic sales opportunities with dynamic and engaging value-based presentations and conversations with business and I.T. leaders.
  • Support during RFX’s processes
  • Provide Account Executives with industry specific knowledge and act as a Subject Matter Expert throughout the sales cycle with prospects and existing client upsell opportunities.
  • Consult with Account Executives on the development of account targeting plans, persona targeting, and differentiated economic buyer and business unit messaging.

Demand Generation:

  • Collaborate with marketing team to identify business use-cases for TIBCO’s DMS technology and create campaign collateral for strategic marketing initiatives.
  • Leverage subject matter expertise to advise marketing on appropriate channels for marketing spend.
  • Collaborate with Communities of Practice (COP) leadership to support TIBCO Solution Framework (TSF) strategy and develop high-quality value-based selling content/solution documentation.


  • Lead and orchestrate webinars, assessments, trade show booths and breakouts, both in-person and virtual.
  • Assist in demonstrating the value proposition of TIBCO’s DMS technology from the business professional (user) perspective.
