Sales Executive

Overview

***Remote based role anywhere in EST, CST, PST****

To support our expansion and continuous growth trajectory, we are looking for an Account Executive with new-business sales experience looking to further their career in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

In this Account Executive role you will be responsible for selling TIBCO Jaspersoft solutions. You will have had previous success selling Infrastructure, Middleware, BPM, Business Intelligence, Analytics or relevant Enterprise Software. OEM sales experience is a plus. You will possess the ability to understand your customers' requirements and translate these needs into value-add solutions. 

 

What You'll Do

  • Initiate and execute sales transactions to prospective client base within defined geographic territory
  • Effectively conduct and manage sales cycle including: Qualification for technical business fit; Evaluation process; Contract process; Closing transaction
  • Meet or exceed defined sales goals, quotas and opportunities
  • Develop and implement sales plans for your territory
  • Develop and maintain a sales pipeline by developing new business as well as creating upselling opportunities with existing customer base
  • Educate potential clients and partners on the value of TIBCO JasperSoft services and products
  • Understand customer requirements and present customer specific solutions
  • Maintain consistent, self-directed sales outreach 
  • Secure maximum achievable contract volume
  • Work closely with other departments such as Presales, Professional Services and Alliances
  • Negotiate and develop contracts in close connection with departments such as Legal and Sales Operations
  • Meet required deadlines for information input and forecasting and reporting to sales management

 

Who You Are

  • 5+ years successful track record of exceeding revenue goals in complex, enterprise software sales
  • Track record of success selling BI-/Analytics software solutions; opening new markets/accounts in the BI Software space is desirable but not a must
  • Analytically oriented – both in terms of the individuals own approach to their business as well as understanding the value analytics can bring to our customers
  • Understanding of the analytics marketplace – Jaspersoft, traditional business intelligence vendors, and other analytics tools in particular 
  • Strong team-selling skills
  • Excellent communicator internally and externally
  • Excellent organizational, presentation, prospecting and follow-up skills
  • Outgoing personality, entrepreneurial mind set
  • Experience in commercial open source advantages
  • Experience working in both direct sales and via the channel is beneficial 
  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships at the CXO level and with various LOBs within the organization
