Global Mobility Specialist


As the Global Mobility Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the business visa letters process including creation of letters, interaction with traveling team members, and coordination with travel.

What You'll Do

  • Act as main contact for CIBT (business visa supplier) and travel for all aspects related to business visas and frequent business travelers
  • Manage the business traveler and commuter assignment tracking and reporting process. Advise frequent business travelers to ensure they understand the reporting requirements, answer any questions they have about the process and resolve an issues presented
  • Advise HRBPs and managers on the business travel process and provide guidance and best practices to ensure they are equipped to handle initial employee queries
  • Review and categorize supplier invoices, including immigration related invoices, to ensure payroll reporting compliance. Liaise with payroll, finance and other stakeholders to ensure timely and accurate reporting. 
  • Analyze global mobility data, compile and distribute quarterly GM and remote work related reporting. Provide insight regarding trends and improvements. 
  • Keep current on industry developments and best practices related to business travelers and commuter assignments. 
  • Liaise with and advise managers, employees, immigration and outsourced providers to obtain information necessary for immigration filings related to relocations/assignments  
  • Coordinate global immigration related queries with outsourced immigration provider
  • Work with external suppliers to effectively manage the process

Who You Are

  • B.S. degree and minimum of 3 years of work experience in global mobility
  • Knowledge of both US domestic and international relocation process, including some familiarity with international tax
  • Self-motivated, proactive, team player
  • High degree of detail orientation
  • Resourceful, with the ability to work as a self-starter in a fast-paced, flexible, remote environment
  • Demonstrated success in prioritizing and organizing multiple tasks
  • Ability to understand the big picture of work processes
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
