Field Marketing Manager


As a Field Marketing Manager you will manage the field marketing activities for your region to generate demand and pipeline for TIBCO solutions. In this role, you will collaborate with many internal partners and teams including: regional sales leaders, regional sales teams, pre-sales, partner sales, marketing demand generation, account based marketing and the business development team. You will have the opportunity to be involved in many elements of marketing and although the primary focus is field marketing, you will work on wider marketing projects & activities such as digital marketing, campaign execution, lead generation and budget management in a collaborative team environment.


What You'll Do

  • Help to create and execute the field marketing plan for the East regions for TIBCO in North America, in conjunction with the Senior Director of North America Field Marketing, that positions TIBCO (& its partners) and products in high visibility with customers and prospects

  • Execute a robust demand generation plan for field marketing incorporating multiple tactics to reach key audiences including, but not not limited to, events, webinars, roundtables, digital, content syndication, hospitality etc.

  • Serve as the liaison point for field sales into field marketing and the other key functions within the marketing organization

  • Work closely with the marketing campaigns & account based marketing teams to ensure messaging and positioning of TIBCO in the field marketing plan is aligned to the wider company Go-To-Market strategy

  • Budget management and associated purchasing process management working with finance

  • Support key field marketing projects and activities in collaboration with the other field marketing managers in each region of North America

  • Support audience acquisition and enablement with field sales teams for key Enterprise Awareness global customer conferences

  • Reporting & KPI tracking on a monthly and quarterly basis

Who You Are

  • Min 2 years + relatable experience, software industry preferred

  • Posses excellent communications skills with the ability to interface at all levels within the organization

  • Have a "get it done" attitude and can execute effectively

  • Very detailed oriented

  • Willing to work a flexible schedule

  • Adaptable to different situations and work well under pressure to complete deadlines

  • Genuinely enjoy working with people and possess excellent communication skills

  • Creative problem solver and strategic thinker who brings passion, enthusiasm and fresh ideas

  • Excellent relationship management skills

  • Highly creative, with strong copy-writing skills and campaign management experience

  • A self-starter who is confident, enthusiastic, very proactive and organized

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at any one time and not afraid to be hands-on

  • Have excellent IT skills including CRM technologies ( preferred), analytics tools and other SaaS applications

  • Willingness to learn and work in a growing marketing team and expand the role

  • Able to participate in physical activity, to include event set-up & tear down

  • Must be able, and willing to, travel up to 40% post pandemic, less travel currently 

  • Marketing to, and working with, Federal organizations preferred

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field

  • This position is remote anywhere in the US (currently and post-pandemic)

Bonus Attributes

  • Experience as an application and data integration product marketing manager or product manager - or in a sales or pre-sales role in enterprise software or a related field

  • Working knowledge of application architecture technologies such as APIs, EDA, Kafka/Pulsar, microservices and growth opportunities that they provide

  • Open-minded and able to synthesize multiple inputs; demonstrated analytical and value synthesis skills

  • Willing to go against the grain and challenge conventions

Location: US Home Office/Remote

$65k-$75k+ base salary range, plus bonus, dependent on candidate experience and location
