Position Overview

Our HR team is part of a dynamic and hugely successful organisation with an ambitious and exciting global growth agenda. Culturally the business is fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and offers individuals a fantastic opportunity to contribute and be part of this on-going success story.
Reporting to the VP, Human Resources who is based in London, and supporting an employee base of close to 1000 employees who are located in 20+ countries across Europe and APJ (Asia Pac & Japan), the International Benefits Manager will join a high-calibre, commercially savvy HR Function.

The role is strongly biased towards international benefits management, with a requirement to provide full specialist consulting on benefits design, implementation and maintenance across a number of established and emerging international markets. In addition, the job holder will provide compensation intelligence services to the business covering peer-to-peer and peer-to-market practices in line with the Company’s reward philosophy. TIBCO is a highly acquisitive business and therefore a strong understanding of elements that must be considered in an M&A scenario as well as the ability to consider due diligence needs is required

What You'll Do

Benefits Management & Consulting (accounts for 80% of responsibility)

  • Manage EMEA and APJ Benefit Programmes, ensuring that an end-to-end service is delivered to internal client groups. This includes:
    • Management and auditing of benefit programme administration
    • Tracking benefit scheme renewal dates and invoices
    • Creating and maintaining internal benefit user guides and policies
  • Liaise, negotiate with and manage the performance of third party benefit providers.
  • Generation & maintenance of benefit policies e.g. annual leave, parental benefits, car policies etc.
  • Analysis of car policy components to ensure practices meet local business requirements.
  • HRBP escalation point for complex benefit issues and queries.
  • Effective and innovative communication of the reward offering to employees.
  • Analysis and development of benefit provision recommendations when moving into new geographic territories.
  • Manage the provision of TIBCO’s EAP service.

Analysis of Financial Reward

  • Analysis of market data and presentation of the results to senior HR management
  • Maintenance and development of salary ranges
  • Management of cyclical reward events such as salary focal and bonus allocation
  • Assisting managers with ad-hoc reward analysis, including internal and external benchmarking

Reward Consulting

  • Understanding and managing the legislative impact of Reward policies and practices.
  • Education of all reward matters to internal members of the HR team as well as to business stakeholders
  • Internal/external total reward benchmarking
  • Participate in identified salary surveys throughout the year
  • Assist with reward analysis recommendations/ proposals to support geographic expansion
  • Develop commercially focussed and pragmatic solutions to reward challenges

International Consulting

  • Side by side analysis on all aspects of reward in a M&A scenario
  • Analysis and development of benefit provision recommendations when moving into new geographic territories

Internal Compliance

  • Oversee the bi-annual EMEA Payroll Audit and ensure that SOX processes are documented, maintained and adhered to.

Required Skills:

  • Graduate-calibre with proven experience in a benefits role, preferably from the software sector
  • Technically knowledgeable and with solid experience in international benefits consulting
  • Commercially-minded, with experience in managing 3rd party employee benefits vendors effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively and handle issues sensitively
  • A self-starter, proactive, resilient with a positive, “can do” and “roll-up-the-sleeves” mentality to get the job done
  • Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to apply and present findings in a way that is credible to the business
  • Strong customer-orientated attitude – a focus on customer delivery is vital
  • Able to work in an ambiguous environment and shift gears as needed. Strong drive to deliver a good service and results.
  • Tact, diplomacy and confidentiality
  • Fluency in another European language is an advantage.
  • Experience of Global/US matrix managed businesses desirable
