Cloud Architect
Overview
- TIBCO’s Cloud infrastructure group lays the foundation of the TIBCO Connected Intelligence (https://www.tibco.com/connected-intelligence)
- This group provides the processes and technology required to effectively deliver and run TIBCO products in the cloud
- This position is a truly awesome opportunity to work in a group of highly motivated and skilled team members
- You will be exposed to the very latest cutting edge cloud technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, Prometheus, Elastic Search, Golang, Docker, Helm etc) and Cloud providers such as AWS and Azure
- The candidate for the Cloud Architect will be part of the geographically distributed highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure and Runtime Development team
- The candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and testing core components which form underpinnings for TIBCO products running in the TIBCO Connected Intelligence Cloud
What You'll Do
- Define, design, develop and validate components e.g. Kubernetes Operators and Controllers
- Design and Develop REST microservices
- Develop unit and functional automated tests
- Collaborate with TIBCO product teams, QA team members and other stakeholders
- Participate in Agile development
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Who You Are
- 5 to 9 years of relevant hands-on industry experience
- Proficiency in one or more languages: Java, Golang, Python, Shell-scripting
- Understanding of cloud architecture principles and cloud security practices
- Strong knowledge of computer networking concepts and protocols
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong team player
Nice to have Skills and Experience:
- Hands on experience with Docker, Kubernetes
- Experience using Unix based operating systems
- Demonstrable knowledge of Systems Programming, networking stacks, and protocols
