Associate Manager, Enterprise Awareness

Overview

We are currently looking for an Associate Marketing Program Manager to join our Enterprise Awareness team focused on event marketing in the Developer Community! This person has at least 6 years of experience in a technology marketing role and will be responsible for planning & execution of CAO/CTO programs. The ideal candidate will have experience with: event logistics, speaker management, event reporting, audience acquisition and insights.

What You'll Do

  • The Marketing Program Manager will be responsible for driving the planning and execution of OSSDay (Open Source Community Day), a hybrid event for the Developer community taking place twice a year.

  • The Marketing Program Manager will work on developing inspiring cohesive campaigns and driving major programs from strategy to go-to-market

  • Partner with various marketing teams to manage project deliverables, timelines and budgets

  • Work with stakeholders to drive the development of the event content strategy to include audience acquisition,  inclusive of managing speaker on-boarding, rehearsals and all relevant deadlines

  • Work with the Dir of Enterprise Marketing to build marketing strategy, pre, during and post event

  • Work with Dir of Enterprise Marketing to coordinate speaker deliverables & sessions.

  • Be main point of contact for third party agencies and vendors to drive overall event experience

  • Oversee travel and accommodation logistics for staff as needed

  • Support tracking and reporting on event results to assess event effectiveness

  • Research & Review trade shows for fit with CAO/CTO teams

  • Research potential speaking opportunities for CAO/CTO (call for papers)

  • Develop and maintain a close relationship with key stakeholders.

Who You Are

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field

  • 4+ years’ experience in event marketing

  • Deep experience developing and coordinating developer events (offline and/or online)

  • A team player who can also work independently

  • A person comfortable with taking the initiative without being asked

  • Someone who is flexible to roll with changes, but who also has an opinion to share

  • Passion for event technology and digital experiential channels
