Recruitment Fraud

At TIBCO, we’re committed to the privacy and online safety of our candidates. It has come to our attention that there may be people posing as recruiters online, particularly on online job boards, attempting to get financial information from candidates who believe they’re applying for jobs at TIBCO.

Please practice safe online activity and do not give out your information to people claiming to be from TIBCO unless you have directly applied to a job and have been in contact with our HR department.

Here is some additional information to help you identify and avoid these scams:

What Does Fraud Look Like?

Recruitment fraud is a sophisticated scam, offering fake job opportunities to job seekers. This type of fraud can happen through fake websites (that can look like legitimate websites), social media, job boards, or through email accounts claiming to be on behalf of a company (and may look like they came from the company). Scammers often request sensitive personal information and payments as part of the fake recruiting process.

Fraud Checklist:

  • TIBCO will not ask for your personal financial or banking information during the application process.
  • TIBCO does not require any financial commitment as part of our candidate search or application process.
  • No job offers will be made by TIBCO without a formal interview process.
  • If you receive an email from a sender that does not contain the @tibco.com address, please treat it as fraudulent.
