A lot has been happening at TIBCO over the last several months. Hear from Matt Quinn, General Manager of TIBCO, as he shares key news, including the formation of a new company created through the combination of TIBCO and Citrix Systems—Cloud Software Group. Matt discusses how TIBCO will continue to focus on our mission of solving the world’s most challenging data problems.

For those of you who do not already know me, my name is Matt Quinn, and I lead the TIBCO business unit of the Cloud Software Group. A lot has been happening at TIBCO over the last several months, and I’m excited to share with you some of the most important aspects of our organization, focus, and future plans. But first, just to set some context, I’ve been with TIBCO for more than 25 years, and in that time, I’ve seen the growth of one of the most important software companies in the world, a company that invented and progressed many of the key components of today’s digital world.

From our origins as the startup that digitized Wall Street to super scaling some of the world’s largest and most complex event-driven enterprises to imagining the role that real-time insights played in decision making, customer experience, and operational excellence, TIBCO has always been seen by you, our customers, as mission critical to your success, your innovation, and your future.

Today, we find ourselves on the precipice of even greater change in how you use data and digital technologies to shape your capabilities, adapt to customer-driven and operational use cases, and how you choose to deploy and utilize those technologies to gain efficiencies, spend wisely, and ultimately create value for your organizations. In September, we announced the formation of a new company created through the combination of TIBCO and Citrix systems, the Cloud Software Group, headed by our new CEO, Tom Krause. Tom brings a couple of decades of experience building software organizations that are laser-focused on two areas.

The first is investing in engineering and delivering solutions and capabilities that are vital for how our customers will create, engage, and thrive in years to come. And the second is focusing on the success, satisfaction, and value creation of you, our great customers, and what you can achieve with our solutions. Within this larger company, TIBCO remains a cornerstone business unit, continuing to focus on our mission of solving the world’s most challenging data problems, connecting any device, system, or application, unifying data into powerful and practical information across the universe, and leveraging that data and information to make faster, smarter decisions.

Now going forward, expect an even greater focus from us on how together we will grow and succeed by simplifying and harmonizing your ability to deploy our solutions across any cloud, on-premises, or edge location, increasing the ease with which you can expand and utilize your data-centric capabilities across the TIBCO platform. And then finally, lowering your cost of total ownership while increasing the value you create using TIBCO. In my 25 years of TIBCO, I’ve never been more optimistic about our mission, strengths, and potential. And I’m looking forward to continuing this journey with all of you. And then truly, and this is one of my favorite phrases, this is a time for all of us to be awesome. Thank you.
