Clalit Health Services Fights COVID-19 with Real-time Data Access from TIBCO and The Yael Group

Clalit Health Services, headquartered in Tel Aviv, is Israel’s leading hospital services provider. When the pandemic began, the organization needed to interconnect more than 100 information systems and a wide range of technologies and multidisciplinary operations to better manage patient data and make it available at all times. Clalit also needed real-time data to help stop the spread of the virus and support doctors in administering treatments immediately to help shorten recovery time, reduce readmissions, and improve efficiency.

Using TIBCO solutions in partnership with the Yael Group, Clalit built a technology platform to integrate systems and analyze data centrally, allowing it to be extracted automatically whenever and wherever needed. With real-time data access, Clalit was well-prepared to receive COVID-19 patients. By being able to act smarter and faster, Clalit saved many lives. 

In addition, during the vaccine rollout, Clalit’s new real-time data platform allowed it to easily manage patient appointments, notifications, lab results, and government reporting. And when patients requested tests, the waiting time for approval in the system went from 30 minutes to just a few seconds.
