This week, Forrester named TIBCO Spotfire a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: Enterprise BI Platforms with Majority On-Premises Deployments, Q3 2017. Spotfire was top-ranked for current offering of the 15 vendors evaluated, and it is the only platform that received the highest possible score in the Ease of Use criterion.

Forrester reports, “TIBCO Spotfire is back in the market as a formidable player in full-spectrum analytics, from basic descriptive analytics to advanced data visualization and predictive analytics. Our evaluation gave Spotfire top scores for advanced analytics and ease of use (as per its top customer-reference survey scores and least number of clicks for the ‘clicks to answer’ exercise). Customer references also rated Spotfire highly for quick time-to-value, scalability, data visualization, end user self-service, and cloud/hybrid architecture.”

We believe that this validates the position that TIBCO Spotfire is one of the most complete analytics offerings in the marketplace, democratizing analytics by combining ease and depth, allowing users of all skill levels to discover insights in data that can transform the business. AI-driven recommendations for data wrangling, visualization, and discovery reduce time-to-insight so users can take faster, smarter actions before opportunities become irrelevant. The ability to connect virtually any data source, and deep analytical capabilities like geospatial and predictive, allow users to do more as their skills and needs evolve. Spotfire also provides controls for governance, consistency, and collaboration, while maintaining compliance with data privacy and security regulations.

This report analyzes enterprise current offering, strategy, and market presence through vendor surveys and product demos. Vendors must demonstrate key foundational BI components and a majority of BI revenues from on-premises deployments in order to be included.
