The awards return for the fourth consecutive year at the start of the TIBCO NOW conference series in Singapore, showcasing the top four businesses in the region who have secured substantial business results using TIBCO technology, demonstrating ingenuity and thought leadership while meeting the demands of the digital consumer.
The TIBCO NOW Singapore Trailblazer Awards were awarded to four companies for having embraced the digital revolution, using technology to enhance their current offerings and compete in today’s market.
Melbourne’s Tullamarine Airport received this year’s Innovator award, honouring a collaborative company focused on accelerating IT innovation across its business to provide remarkable product and service delivery to customers. Melbourne Airport is Victoria’s gateway to the world, welcoming almost 34 million visitors per year, expected to soar to 64 million by 2033. The airport operates 24/7 and is the second busiest airport in Australia, serving the fourth most traveled passenger air route in the world: Melbourne to Sydney. Melbourne Airport has taken a proactive approach to delivering a smarter airport and world-class customer experience. Modeled around the customer journey, it established the Enhanced Airport Coordination Centre with whole-of-airport coverage. The Centre will combine all events from various systems into an intuitive and user-friendly interface, enabling operational awareness. Phase 1 of this project has been completed, with integration of hybrid OT and IT systems and services using TIBCO technology—TIBCO ActiveMatrix BusinessWorks integration and TIBCO StreamBase streaming analytics technologies.
KB Kookmin Card was honoured with the Visionary award for their inspirational redefinition of their business in the wake of major technology disruption to deliver market-leading services and an exceptional customer experience globally. A member of the KB Finance Group, KB Kookmin Card is one of the largest credit card companies in Korea. Using the TIBCO platform, since 2013, the company successfully built their Smart Offering system, the most innovative marketing platform in its history. The system provides real-time personalized offers based on customer credit card usage and behavior, generating annual revenue of more than 700 billion Korea Won (US$600M) and a dramatic increase in customer satisfaction.
Marina Bay Sands Singapore received the Impact award in recognition of how it has leveraged a flexible, agile platform to revolutionize its IT strategy, facilitating operational excellence, increased competitiveness, and a superior customer experience. Marina Bay Sands has leveraged TIBCO for interconnectivity of its back-of-house systems for a number of years. Recently the integrated resort connected its front- and back-of-house systems, enabling Marina Bay Sands to deliver best-in-class digital capabilities to its customers and enable real-time capabilities moving forward.
Reliance Jio received the Transformer award, recognizing agile organizations that leverage the TIBCO platform to drive digital transformation, enabling broad interconnections among systems and people, and augmenting intelligence for unprecedented understanding and the ability to act quickly.
