TIBCO recommends that candidates attend the classes indicated for each certification. There are also prerequisite levels of experience that are recommended for each exam, described in the exam outlines. Candidates should use the exam outline to help prepare and study for their exam. Other than the recommended courses and exam outlines provided by TIBCO, use of other aids or materials is not authorized.
It is important that a candidate arrives at the testing center at least fifteen minutes before the scheduled exam time. The candidate is also required to bring two forms of signature identification, one with a photograph, for verification purposes. To maintain the security of the test environment, candidates are not permitted to bring reference materials of any kind into the testing center.
After an exam has been taken a candidate will automatically receive a score report indicating a pass or fail result. Provided that a candidate is in compliance with the terms of the TIBCO Certified Professional Candidate Agreement, a certificate will be sent within 6 to 8 weeks after completion of their exam.
Candidates may attempt each exam up to three times in a twelve-month period, waiting a minimum of thirty days between attempts. Exam forms will vary for retake examinations. The expense associated with retaking an exam is not discounted. Candidates are not allowed to retake an exam if they have already passed it. Exams that do not comply with the retake examination policy will be considered invalid and will not be eligible for a refund.
