TIBCO and Arzoon Announce Alliance to Integrate Global Logistics and Supply Chain Solutions
Combined Solution Speeds Implementation and Integration of Logistics and Enterprise Systems
PALO ALTO and SAN CARLOS, Calif., February 13, 2002 - TIBCO Software Inc. (Nasdaq: TIBX) and Arzoon, Inc. today announced an alliance to deliver enterprise–wide integration that will reduce costs, improve customer service and increase competitive advantage for Global 2000 organizations worldwide. To do so, TIBCO and Arzoon will jointly market the industry-leading TIBCO ActiveEnterprise™ infrastructure solutions with the Arzoon™ LIFE™ family of Logistics Resource Management solutions, facilitating rapid implementation and increasing real-time access to valuable logistics information.
The combination of the two companies' solutions enables easier and more effective communications and data-sharing for manufacturers, distributors, and retailers by increasing and easing connectivity of logistics systems, additional enterprise systems and the systems of numerous trading partners. Arzoon LIFE allows companies to better manage their logistics and import/export processes to reduce costs and improve customer service. TIBCO ActiveEnterprise enables companies to become real-time businesses by connecting back-end and front-end systems and tying systems to customers, suppliers and partners over the Web. TIBCO and Arzoon are currently working with several joint customers including Union Pacific Corporation.
